Although Shelton may struggle and be hot-headed, he loves to entertain, but I believe he is capable of defeating Navone. He has everything to conquer his opponent, and it is important to have a clear head. The odds match reality, so it seems easy for Shelton to handle Peru normally. The fast cards greatly favor Shelton, so Navone will have to minimize errors if he wants to defeat the American. However, I find it difficult to believe that he will objectively achieve this.
