I think Alves is underrated here. Lately, Alves has not been playing for unknown reasons, but perhaps he wanted to rest a little before the Rome tournament, as Mexico won 2 Challenger tournaments from March 19th to April 13th. This is the highest number of points Alves has ever won and I believe he is in great shape and ready to do something in the ATP, at least in the qualifiers. Alves is also a tough clay court player and plays almost all of his tournaments exclusively on clay. On the other hand, Fucsovics is more of a hard court player and has had many good matches on that surface. Lately, he has been on a bit of a decline - he is 33 years old and doesn't have many wins.
