In the first two matches, the Slovaks were unable to score a single goal against the Swedes, while the Slovenes lost 0:4 to Canada. Looking at the friendly matches between teams before the world championship, there is not much optimism today. Especially considering that just two years ago, Slovakia was able to defeat the Canadians with a close score of only 1:0. Interestingly, even the Canadian team only scored four goals against the Slovaks yesterday, knowing that they would play again the next day and the match would be much more important.

Well, here you can't add much, the Americans won both matches with scores 5-0 and 6-0. Now they are facing their toughest opponent yet, so I believe they will take the game more seriously and we can expect goals from the team. The composition is very young and everyone wants to contribute. The Swiss, on the other hand, haven't disappointed yet, losing to the Czechs 4-5 in overtime and beating the hosts 5-2. The offense is working, but the defense is not as strong as before. Plus, today we will have the joining of forward K. Fiala from the LA Kings team. So I think we can expect some goals.

    Austria - Slovakia

It's difficult to decide the winner in this match. Both Ghana and both teams are fighting for that coveted fourth place in the group. The Slovaks played evenly against the Swedes, but lost 0-5. The next day, they won their first match against Peru 3-1, despite having 40 shots. The team has capable forwards, their game is improving, and their attacks are sharper, so the goals should come with time. The Austrians put up a fight against the Finns and also the Swedes. So it's unlikely they won't try to win against Peru and the Slovaks today. Against both Scandinavian representatives, they scored two goals each, unfortunately, they had one goal called back in the match against Finland. But the team is able to capitalize on their chances, and with the opponent not being as strong, I believe we can expect more goals from the Austrian side.
