Medvedev is no longer the same player, having fallen to 11th place and I think he will continue to fall. His serves are struggling and his game is not coming together easily. Popyrin, on the other hand, is at the peak of his career and although he may have some setbacks, he plays well, especially against strong opponents. Recently, Medvedev has only been able to win against weaker tennis players, and his performance continues to decline. Popyrin even won their last match on hard court, which is a surface that Medvedev is better on. It will be challenging for him to face stronger opponents on the clay courts of Rome.
