The Norwegians have two losses, to the Czechs and the Kazakhs, with the same result of 1-2. The last game was painful, as team captain T. Berg-Poulsen got injured and had to leave the rest of the tournament. However, today the young forward M. Brandsgaed-Nygard, who returned from the AHL league, joined the team and will make his debut. The Norwegians looked solid in both games, but their finishing, especially against the Kazakhs, was very disappointing. The Germans played against the two weakest teams, the Hungarians and Kazakhs, and easily defeated them with scores of 6-1 and 4-1. However, they let in at least one goal in each game, and today their opponent is stronger, so I think the Norwegians can surprise them.
