Finals are approaching and 14 real candidates are waiting for the top 10. The song from Ghana is average, nothing really memorable. The singer's voice sounds weak live. She struggles with the more difficult notes. The song definitely loses some of its charm when performed live. The UK will vote here and it may help a bit, but it won't be enough to save it. There are plenty of good songs in this semi-final, with a performance number 3, but if the vocals don't improve by the semi-final, I find it hard to see Ireland making it to the finals.
On the occasion of Denmark breaking their 4-year streak of not reaching the final. For countries outside the top 10 in the semi-final, Denmark would give a better chance of qualifying for the final. The song is not bad, the performer has a very strong vocal and performs well live. In the second half of the semi-final, their performance has a higher percentage of making it to the final. The stage presence should improve considerably compared to the national selection.
It's difficult to predict the outcome of the final with Armenia and their song. The song is average, nothing stands out, and the vocalist's voice is mediocre. In the final, 6 songs will compete for 2 spots, and the other competitors have decent stage performances from the rehearsal videos.
Betting is more for fun. Simply, if I had to choose only one Shock NQ, I would choose Malta. Of course, here the second semifinal can be the opposite of the first one, much calmer, without surprises. The song itself is very popular among Eurovision fans, but it is unclear whether it will appeal to neutral viewers. Eurovision Day said that after Lithuania's serious performance, Malta's vulgar one seems distasteful to them.
Well, it's not a surprise, just a song not standing out too much, maybe a few Loren tones, but otherwise nothing special, it will fade away, I think the coefficients are arranged very well, Danė will remain at 14, and there will be no place in the final for this song.
Latvia captures you from the first minute, but then the song does not develop and it seems to drag on for 5 minutes of intense listening. For Europe, it might be like Peru, especially for those who do not delve into their magical song - it will truly extend the experience.
Although this semi-final features countries like Montenegro, Greece, Malta and other neighboring countries, from which they may receive votes, even if they sing in their own language (which is popular now), their ballad is quite boring and will likely be sung towards the end (which we saw in the first semi-final is not advantageous), among more aggressive songs like Germany and Finland. So I think it may be forgotten. I can realistically see Latvia making it through, maybe even Ireland and I wouldn't rule out Denmark yet, so there isn't really a place for Serbia in my opinion.
