World Championships, quarterfinals. Finland took third place in Group A, while the Americans remained second in Group B. In a surprising turn of events, they lost in Group B (0-3) to the rapidly progressing Swiss team, but clearly dominated their other opponents. Although the Americans did not have the opportunity to bring their "dream team", this team also demonstrates a similar level (good defense, fast counterattacks, relatively few penalty minutes). Finland may get nervous (Canada could speak up here), but the American confidence is not easily stopped by Finland today.
