Hubis is a deep pool of talent. He can be credited with cutting short the careers of Federer and Nadal. Against Nole, who has never beaten him in his career, he probably has a better chance. Nole arrived at the tournament to prepare for the Roland Garros and that is his priority. The only motivation for him today is to achieve his 100th title, if he manages to win, so I believe he may put up a strong fight. Lately, Nole has been feeling the pressure after going far in the tournaments and making mistakes. Hubis has been playing impressively in this tournament, only conceding one break on his way to the final, in the first match no less. He has not dropped a single set. Nole's serves are slightly inconsistent, and his returns are not as strong. However, this tournament is just a warm-up for him, and I believe he still wants to attempt to win his 100th tournament with a Grand Slam, and if he fails, he will still have time to take a smaller ATP tournament. Today, I believe Hubis will have the will to win over, considering that he does not have an overwhelming number of titles, and his last one was over a year ago.

Last year's champion spent most of this season out due to a foot injury. They only returned in July and played against Duckworth, Etcheverry, and Bellucci. The player from Kienas is gradually returning and there is nothing better for Asians than to play in their own country. They will definitely have enough motivation to defend their points from last year. The only question mark is their physical form, but Junchenas mentioned before the tournament that they are fully prepared. I believe in the talent of the Chinese player and if there are no physical issues, I think they can easily take care of business here.
