I believe Elversberg will regret not taking advantage of the 0-2 lead they had created in the first game. Heidenheim started the first game very slowly, and by the end of the first period they were already trailing 0-2. However, in the second period they woke up, took control, and managed to equalize the score to 2-2, earning a spot in these games as the home team. Heidenheim, especially towards the end of the season, had very strong performances away from home, only losing once in their last 7 games (3-0 to Frankfurt), taking points from Leipzig, Stuttgart and Wolfsburg...
