It's too much value not to try. Start with the fact that Novak is far from the player he used to be and I don't believe that any opponent will be a complete walkover. Nole makes more mistakes than usual, moves worse, serves worse and his golden return is gone. The match won't take place at Chatrier, so the support will be impressive for the French, as usual. Moutet has beaten many top players on clay, has a lot of talent and is unpredictable. Last year at Chatrier, he won the first set 6:2 against Jannik, and he can definitely turn on his super game and I believe he will do it against Novak. He won 3:0 in the first round, and I believe that it is definitely worth trying the Moutet win with such odds. Novak understands that his chances of winning RG are almost non-existent, and if he performs badly as he has been recently, he will probably accept defeat.
