Mexico is coming after a disappointing end to the season where they lost in the final to Toluca, while LA is coming in with a comeback, as the beginning of the season was tragic with 7 losses in the first 13 games, but in the last 8 games before Christmas, their newly formed offense brought its fruit, with no losses and scoring 2+ goals in every game, although the defense still needs improvement as 5 out of the 8 games had 2+ goals conceded. Of course, there's not much at stake, but for the sake of excitement, in this season these teams have played friendly games and LA won 2-1.
