Basel has been dominating this season and is fully deserving of a spot in the cup final against the Swiss team, while the other question is whether Biel from the second league will make it to the final... They not only eliminated Lugano from the first league in the quarterfinals, but also knocked out Young Boys, the second best team in the country, in the semifinals. Basel is the clear favorite and their offense has been outstanding this season, scoring 91 goals in 38 league games and ending the past 8 seasons with at least 4 goals scored in their last game, 5 of which ended with 4+ goals scored. A similar scenario to Germany last week, when first league Stuttgart and second league Bielefield made it to the cup final and Stuttgart celebrated a 4-2 victory. A similar outcome could be expected in Switzerland.
