With James absent, Monaco did not seem secure before Le Mans and even lost one game. Without Mike James, the highly-rated Le Mans team scored 145 and 161 points. In comparison, the games with Mike James ended with 175 points. It is clear that without this team's leader, Monaco no longer has as many options on offense and relies more on defense. ASVEL is also not the most talented team on offense and in the playoffs. Knowing how fragile Monaco looks without James, I am also trying my luck with ASVEL.
