Rinky Hijikata - Yosuke Watanuki

2025/06/03 21:10 (Rinky Hijikata) @-150 9/10

The grass season has begun and Hijikata, who has returned to form, meets a Japanese player. After a solid victory over a British player in the first round, I believe the Australian is a strong favorite in the second round against Watanuki, whom he also defeated on grass last year. By no means the worst grass court player, Watanuki is a very unpredictable opponent and already has 3 wins in this tournament, including qualifying. However, against a strong grass court player and someone who has been playing well lately, like Hijikata, I don't see him having much of a chance.

    Bejlek Sara - Radivojevic Lola

    Bejlek Sara (setais 2:0) @163 8/10
Lola Radivojevic seems to be an impressive player, as all the players she has faced are practically at a high level according to ITF and challenger tournaments, such as A. Koevermans, J. Grabher, S. Waltert, and T. Zidansek. However, another aspect is revealed when she faced Zidansek in the third set - her serves were inconsistent and her overall game was not up to par. Zidansek, on the other hand, was pushing her to her limits without much effort. It seems that Zidansek may not be in the best physical condition, as she often struggles to finish tournaments and even had to retire from a few matches. As for Radivojevic, it appears that she struggles towards the end of longer tournaments, and if we look at her stats, she usually loses 0:2 in later matches.

As for Sara Bejlek, she is a very strong receiver but her serves are weak. However, in the finals, she tends to improve her game even more and often wins 2:0. In general, Bejlek has more experience in higher-ranked tournaments, such as Grand Slams. Lola Radivojevic is still trying to make it to the main stages of Grand Slams.

    Vilius Gaubas - Luka Mikrut

    Final in Braga.

Second consecutive final for Vilius and he could become the back to back ATP Challenger champion. Such an achievement says a lot about the tennis player and it is not an easy feat.

Judging by Vilius' game, it is clear that he is a significantly higher level player than many at the moment. His shots and their selection are really good, his aggressive play is working out perfectly.

The biggest advantage is his stability and adherence to the plan. There is some concern about the remaining strength.

Speaking of his opponent, this year has been amazing for him and it can be called the year of breakthrough. He has won numerous ITF titles and a recent Challenger, and it can be said that he will certainly demonstrate his talent and skills.

Why Gaubas? Both players are at the same level, but Lithuania is not new to this, it's not the first finals, not the first year on the tour. His experience and stable game, which is currently at the ATP level, should be the determining factor in the final.

It is possible that Mikrutas could take a set, but the title will go to Gaubas.
