Indiana is currently ranked first in the elimination rounds. They are very good at scoring 3-pointers, while OKC is not very effective at defending against them. Everyone they played against in the regular season had an easy time scoring 3-pointers against Ghana. I believe OKC will feel more pressure to win the first game. Indiana needs to win at least one of the first two away games in order to have a chance to stay in the series, as losing both games would almost guarantee the end of their season. The biggest chance for underdogs is always to steal the first game.
I would only recommend making this bet if there is an early payout option, because if OKC manages to make a comeback and have a big run, as is possible, they could still overturn a 20-point deficit. That's why I'm opting for the early payout even though the odds may be lower.
