Amanda Anisimova had a pretty good season in Ghana, as the American performed well in the early stages, displaying a lot of power, good serves, and winners. Meanwhile, Sonay Kartal has significantly less experience in more serious tournaments, with the main advantage of playing on home courts and having the support of local fans. Nevertheless, Anisimova has been participating in Grand Slams since 2017, and even reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon on grass in one season. Her experience and significantly higher ranking should definitely give her an edge.
