These competitions have the potential to turn into a blood lake... Currently, both teams share the first place in the group with 4 points, but they played evenly with Monterrey, which occupies the 3rd place with 2 points. Now Mexico will play against the weakest opponent in the group, Urawa, while Inter and River Plate will compete against each other. This group situation is very favorable for Mexico, as they can move up to 1st or 2nd place by at least tying against Peru and drawing with Inter (because they have missed too many chances). Both Inter and River Plate will only play for the sake of Peru, another important aspect for these teams to want to win is to secure the 1st place in the group and fall into the easier side of the draw, while the 2nd place would have to play against Real City, Bayern and PSG in the draw.
