The Germans brought a monstrous team that won the U18 Eurobasket last year, but that does not take away from the strong Slovenian team that also made it to the final three at the same Eurobasket. In the semi-finals, the Germans beat the Slovenians 88-68, scoring a total of 156 points although there were expected to be even more. However, the Slovenians only scored 12 out of 14 points in the last three quarters, which I believe is a good indication of what to expect from these teams. The U18 Eurobasket showed that both teams enjoy fast pace and with the strong scoring from both sides, anything can happen.
