Thompson is a good player on grass and demonstrates a good game in this tournament, reaching a career-best 4th round at Wimbledon, and I believe we will give a decent challenge to Fritz. Although Fritz has impressive results on grass this year, he often loses a set and in this tournament he has already lost at least one set in all 3 matches, and even in his return to the Eastbourne tournament he has lost at least one set in 6 out of his last 7 matches, so I think that even though the American is a clear favorite, the Australian will win at least one set and I predict a 3-1 victory.
