The international U23 tournament points. Both national teams defeated the Saudis 3-1 and it is shaping up to be like a final. From what I have observed, both games were attacking in nature, with a lot of offense, opportunities and quite a few defensive mistakes, which resulted in goals (both teams scored). I believe we will see a similar picture here. A lot of desire and attacks, which leave the defenses open. The Japanese team didn't bring a strong core, mostly young players, with the oldest being 20 years old, but there are also 17-18 year olds, quite a few players from university teams, and there are decent options in the offense, but they had a lot of problems in defense against the same Saudis and were lucky to only concede once. It might not go as well against the Uzbeks, who as hosts and with their strong offense will probably score over, but they also wasted good opportunities and will have their own challenges against the Japanese.

    Friendly USA. Brazilians have a lot of problems with defense before these games, with some players not even making it to the team and some getting injured during training. The defense line will be experimental. The players' surnames are not bad, but they have not played together and have little national team experience. Wearing the Selecao shirt always brings extra pressure, especially in friendly games where fans have high expectations and there is a lot of media attention. Stepping onto the field under such circumstances, facing the French and their strong offense, is a situation that the players surely want to avoid. The names in their attack are superb and they have practically everything they need to defeat their opponents. It's hard to imagine what Ancelotti can come up with to stop them. I think tonight the main hope will be in their own offense, where the stars will be in great form. I believe it will be an open game, dominated by the offense and it will ultimately determine the winner.
