The Slovenians played effectively against the Germans, but that was to be expected, as, as I mentioned earlier, the Germans demonstrated a very strong offense and defended well against the Slovenians. However, it should be a completely different game against the French, as their defense in the friendlies was more than solid. The French themselves played well against the Portuguese, but the Portuguese also had a decent offense.
