LA Galaxy gradually recovers after a tragic first half of the season, recently demonstrating excellent form by scoring 14 goals in their last 5 matches, including a 5-0 victory against Mexican club Tijuana in the first round of the tournament. I have already mentioned Cruz Azul in my prediction for the match against Seattle - the Mexican team has been scoring well, but their defense seems to be weak, having conceded 3 goals in their previous match and 7 goals against Seattle. This does not bode well for their confidence in this team and makes me lean more towards Galaxy taking advantage of their current form and defeating the struggling Mexican club. However, I also believe that the foreigners (Tijuana) will contribute to the total score, as Galaxy themselves have only kept a clean sheet 3 times throughout the season. My prediction is a 3-2 score.
