The Germans will be the underdogs in this championship, but they showed character against the French even when losing by 24 points in the first half. The French are a different level team and also defeated the friendly Spaniards by 14 points. The Spaniards easily defeated the weak Jews and Lithuania, and even lost against the Belgians. I believe that the Germans can maintain a competitive distance here.
