Li Ann - Tomova Viktoriya

08/08 18:00 matas
2025/08/08 06:54 Li Ann (setais 2:0) @146 8/10

Tomova Viktoriya from Bulgaria in the fast court is very weak, practically apart from defense, there is no attack, her strength is limited. Maybe she could do better at the ITF level, but in the WTA case, first stages, like in this tournament, it should be enough. Especially against opponents who have a little bit more power, she can make some winners or aces. In general, Tomova plays better on clay courts, which suits her playing style more.

Li Ann is an American, playing at home. She plays on hard courts and has a good amount of winners and a decent serve, maybe lacking a bit of stability, but her potential for a 2:0 win is clear here.

The downside is that Li is most likely not fully recovered from her injury, which she received at the beginning of the year in the Dubai tournament, so she may not be able to play the whole match at the same level, which can result in dropping a set. Therefore, considering a handicap for games could be a good risk management strategy.

Brooksby is an American, but very unstable. Muller is a relatively stable tennis player and performs well on hard courts. The French player personally seems much stronger and more reliable compared to the American. Brooksby is generally a challenging tennis player, so I believe it would be wise to choose a stronger player with a good coefficient.

There is no better hunter here than the boyar. After the grass, the hunter did not climb anywhere, he had time to recover and prepare. The boyar looked poorly on the saddle, he was eaten by mosquitoes. Although he did not perform badly in Toronto, he rode the first round and fought with the mensikas, but for me, the hunting dog is more suitable here, and the coefficient is not bad. There is not a big difference in skill levels, but I lean more towards hunting dogs.
