One could say it was a clash of bottom teams in the Icelandic league, of course, there are a couple more teams that are in the mix, but the essence is that both are struggling. Reykjavik's cosmic team is in last place, but they have the second-best offense in the league after league leaders Valur. However, they also have the worst defense in the league which is why their games are usually high-scoring. This has caused them some trouble in their last 4 games, but I don't want to make it seem like it's a big deal because eventually everything will fall into place. Afturelding is not classified as a high-scoring team, but they tend to have high-scoring matches against weaker opponents with poor defenses - like today's opponent, whom they have already played against once this season and won at home 4-3, which perfectly reflects my point. It's time for the home team to return to their high-scoring ways, and the away team will finally have an opponent they can score against, balancing out their goal difference.
