Clara Tauson is a much more stable player, especially good at playing the ends of sets when the score is tied. She has a strong serve and a technically sound game, even playing well on clay. It's hard to tire her out, and on hard courts, she is a force to be reckoned with due to her strength.
On the other hand, Veronika Kudermetova has had a difficult time recovering from her injury in 2023. She is now starting to show some stability, but as of February it can be said that she is a noticeably different player than her first few stages. After three stages, she starts to feel the effects of her injury and makes too many unforced errors, which I believe the stable Dane will take advantage of. As the tournament progresses, the Russian player's game significantly declines.
