The second match between Colorado and Arizona lasted for 2 days and both started with bad pitchers, Colorado with Gordeon and Arizona with Pfaadt. Among other things, these two pitchers had already played against each other 7 days ago at the Arizona stadium and the home team won 13-6, but the performance of both pitchers was simply dismal...Colorado's Gordon managed to hold on for 4 and a half innings during which he let in 12 hits and 10 runs...Arizona's Pfaadt fell behind in 5 innings during which he let in 11 hits and 3 runs...Yesterday, these teams started a series with Arizona leading 2-8, but that doesn't tell the whole story since after 5 innings the score was 1-7, and the last 4 innings were strong, it won't be like that again since neither has pitchers of such caliber who could last for 4 innings in such conditions...
