ASEAN Club Championship. Malaysia champions Johor have added quality to their already strong Ghanaian attack during the offseason. They have acquired solid players from South Asia and it is evident in the results since the start of the season - wide rotation and high scoring. It is hard to expect anything other than this today. Lion City Singapore has never been known for their strong defense, especially in international tournaments when they play against strong opponents. It seems that during the offseason, very little attention was given to their defense and the focus was once again on their already strong attack. It is not surprising that their defense cost them the first title, losing to Rovers 1-4 in the local Community Shield. It won't be any easier today. They can definitely score, having quality in their offense, but most likely their defense will pull them down again.
