Hello.
Eurobasket is finally starting and we are immediately looking for something more interesting.
The first day, Czech Republic against Portugal. We are rooting for Portugal.
The Czechs are already aging and the team that was once at the top of the rankings is now considerably older. The only new up-and-coming talent is Krejci, playing for the Atlanta Hawks team, but there are two big losses - Satoransky and Vesely. Even though Satoransky is no longer with them, the experience of a veteran could be useful. The friendly games were also not very promising, but the opponents were not the weakest.
Portugal started their preparation cycle with an unexpected win against Spain. We don't need to discuss the other friendly games, since they were against lower-level teams. However, Portugal's "dynamic duo" looks very impressive and I think they can fight for the 4th place in the group. The match against Czech Republic will most likely determine a lot of things, as Estonia doesn't seem very strong after Kotsar's injury. NBA center Queta looks very powerful and his teammate Williams also stood out to me (at least in the friendly games). They don't have top-level supporting players around them, but the Czechs don't have much to boast about either.
This is a 50/50 match for me, and in such cases, I want to choose the team with more talent, which I believe is on the side of Portugal at the moment. The odds are very good and worth taking a risk, so I am placing a bet and recommending it to you as well. Good luck.
