Sabalenka is the favorite, but for now she hasn't convinced me that she is in good form. She, like everyone else, has won 4 out of 4 matches to reach this stage, but at least 2 out of those 4 were more difficult than they should have been. Against Kudermetova, she won in a 7-6 6-2 tiebreaker and against Fernandez 6-3 7-6. The Czech player has also won all 4 of her matches, but her last 2 wins were against underdogs, in a 7-6 6-1 match against Paolini and against one favorite and in very good form, Rybakina, in a 4-6 7-5 2-6 match. The Czech player is playing amazingly, hitting the ball strongly and accurately, which should cause a lot of problems for Sabalenka. It's nice to have a +4.5 knowing that the Czech player can definitely hold her own in a 6-4 6-4 or 7-6 6-3 match, or even win the game.
