Hello.
Eurobasket. Estonia - Portugal. We are moving on with our Portugal trip.
Portugal is not as bad as the recent results showed. They only lost to Latvia by 16 points, fought against the Serbians and won against the Czechs. Maybe Turkey gave them a bit of a beating, but even then it was a tough match for them with a good team of tall players. Now the Estonians have nothing under the basket to stop Queta, so I believe it will be a fierce game. However, the Peruvian players are not slouches in the Portuguese team, so I hope they will also make a significant contribution.
I am not convinced by the Estonians. They had a surprising game against Latvia where the focus was on anti-basketball, but overall they did what they were supposed to do - beat the Czechs and have a convincing victory against the Serbians and Turks. Their team heavily relies on 3-pointers, but the players are quite average. One of the more notable names - Vene - has been eliminated. He may not be a game changer, but he is definitely a serious and important weapon for the Estonian team.
Both teams should give it their all in this match, as the winner advances in the championship. In my opinion, the odds are 50/50, but I believe in Portugal more, and their odds are also good enough to take a risk with them. Good luck.

    When Lithuania's team loses Jokubaitis, they will need to focus on defense and fighting because without Rokas, our offense looks weak. This match against Sweden might be decent because we are playing against them, but I don't think we will score as many points as other teams in the 4-6 place, like the British and Montenegrins. The Swedes attack fairly well in this championship, but I believe they will struggle against Lithuania's defense and won't score over 70 points, similar to other lower level teams where Lithuania would only let in around 100 points, which I don't see happening. I predict a score of around 85-70.

    In the previous match, Rimantas surprised everyone by replacing Jonas, this time I think it will benefit him, as Simon Birgander would leave the court in tears, as he does not have a defense like Jonas, so physically I believe he will dominate his opponent. The reason I think Jonas could be used as an over this time is because there may be a shortage of points in some areas, especially when Jokubaitis creates shots for himself and it is not clear how the others will perform without him. However, I think Jonas will be sought after in tougher moments, where he excels in mid-range shots. So over is somewhat risky, but he could quickly gather them up with a good margin and no one can stop him, so I believe there will be many opportunities for him to score.

    The championship is over, there is no more pressure, it's easier to play in situations like these, the desire to fight against Latvians should not be lacking, after all, we'll be playing on their territory.     Two fully talented three-point shooter teams, and if Latvians still have Porzingis and can be more versatile, then Czechs have nothing to offer on the court. Often their tall players also struggle with 3PT. Zagars can continue to lead the championship, so quality in Latvia should not suffer. Czechs are an overall team with a great 3PT shot, while Latvians rank third.
