Fiba 3x3 Europe Cup
Netherlands with two wins over Peru yesterday: Ireland easily defeated a team that is not known to be good, but in the second game they beat Latvia 20-14, even though they were not the favorites. Alberts from the Netherlands scored 10 points in this 3x3 game, which is quite a lot.
Italy surprisingly beat Switzerland 23-20 yesterday, a team that I was rooting for, as I didn't know much about the Italian players and had to get to know them during the tournament. In the second game, the favorites Serbia lost to Italy with a score of 15-21.
The Netherlands are playing without their superstar De Jong, and without him their offense may struggle.
Italy, on the other hand, is showing that their players from 5x5 teams can also excel in 3x3, as they played well against each other and have good three-point shooters. Their defense, however, may be weaker.
