ATP Guangzhou 2, China hard.. A nineteen-year-old local talent, a promising young player, advanced to the main draw after two (dry) qualifying rounds. Another young player is also making strides - he's climbing the ranks. But.. a representative from Russia, 23-year-old Petr Baras, has had some movement on his favorite surface in this continent (3 losses, 2 wins). So far, his results are not impressive, but I believe he will put in the effort in this tournament and get through the first round.
