Chellenger Rennes, France, hard... a duel between two compatriots. Despite being the elder, Klementas Ch. (24 years old) excels on his favorite surface and has a number of high-level diplomas from potato-type tournaments (his specialty), but... this season, Haroldas M. (23 years old) has been one of the best on hard courts. Although he has only minimal nominations, he participates in more serious tournaments and has recent experience playing against specialists on this surface. This season, he has had decent results in Poland and Spain, and while he did not make it to the main draw in the priority US Open, he showed a high level in the qualification rounds. At this point, Haroldas seems to be the more reliable player in this tournament, as he has shown in the previous two rounds.
