Liverpool has strengthened greatly in the summer and looks like the main contender to win the CL. Their offensive weapons are more than enough and the players are able to create opportunities seemingly out of nowhere. Yes, they have had a tough start in the league and often only manage to save themselves at the end of the match, but that also shows their character. They are the team to beat and take over the field.
Atletico has had a very slow start so far. In the La Liga, they have only managed to reach the first climbing place in the last round. They won at home against Villarreal, but before that, they had two draws and a loss, and all of their opponents were noticeably of a lower level than Atletico. This puts them in 11th place in the league. On top of that, they have also lost one of their two strikers, Alvarez, which I believe will make a difference in the offense.
You can't just rely on defense against Liverpool, especially when they are playing at home, so I don't expect their bus tactic to work wonders today (although I have no doubt that it will be parked). Even if they manage to win 1 goal, the bet for a draw will be returned, but I believe that the difference will be much bigger today. Good luck.
