Hello.
Champions League. Newcastle against Barca. Let's go with a joint under.
Newcastle lost Isak and it will reflect on their attack, but they also made good additions with 2 strikers - Woltemade (who has already made his debut in the Premier League) and Wissa (who impressed last season at Brentford, but is currently recovering from an injury). They still need to find their team's identity in attack, but one thing Newcastle definitely has is a good defense. It won't be easy for Barcelona's footballers to dive between their opponents as they usually do in their home league. Nevertheless, in the penalty area, they will face big bodies like Burn and Schar, who are not easy to get past even for Premier League teams. Also, they are playing at home, so I think that will also help. By the way, in the Premier League, Newcastle has had 3 clean sheets in their last 3 matches (only conceding against Liverpool in a tough 2-3 match).
Barca is currently crushing their opponents in Spain, but all those opponents are second-tier teams (2 of them could even be considered more relegation contenders than mid-table teams). They struggled even against Rayo Vallecano away, where they only managed a 1-1 draw. On top of everything, they will be missing their young wonderkid Ansu Fati, which certainly decreases their chances of scoring goals here. Yes, Barca plays very attacking football, but I hope that Newcastle's strong defense will be able to withstand that and make their opponents feel uncomfortable, and we may even see some tough contact in the match, after which Spanish teams tend to struggle. Scoring 3 goals is not impossible, and even if that happens, the bet will be refunded, which is why I think it's safe to try with a slightly higher over. Good luck.
