I don't think that the Benfica fans and players would be impressed by simple Peru here. The team obviously has not lived up to expectations, as in the game against Santa Clara, when a real goal was only scored in the added 90+2 minute. The Benfica squad is strong, with great potential. They dominate at home and create opportunities, but they are lacking in goals. Today's opponent is not bad, but Benfica has had a favorable record in past seasons. 6 consecutive matches have ended with 2 or more goals scored by Benfica, in which 5 of them resulted in at least 3 goals for Benfica.
