I think it can confidently be said that Aberdeen have had a very poor start to the season both in Europe and in Scotland. In their 10 official matches this season, Aberdeen have only won once and that was against a lower league team in a cup competition, while they have lost 7 times. Ukraine's Shakhtar is a very serious and strong club that is regaining its good reputation. As is typical for Ukraine, Shakhtar is led by Brazilian players and plays good, technical football. I believe that Shakhtar, the dominant club in Ukraine, is significantly stronger and it is hard to expect anything other than a win for the Ukrainian club, considering Aberdeen's performance and form.
