Pohankova Mia, a 16-year-old Slovakian, won the 2025 Wimbledon youth championship and plays very well on indoor hard courts. Perhaps she will also have some stronger support this weekend. Ghana works well with her head, doesn't rush anywhere, and shoots the ball into the corners of the court. And since Havlickova Lucie is taller, I think she should be able to overpower her. Pohankova has recently defeated a couple of Russians in a best of three Charaeeva and Avdeeva.
On the other side is 20-year-old Czech Havlickova Lucie. She's still recovering from an injury and hasn't played for over two months. She defeated a decent player in Knutson, but the latter made a lot of mistakes and Ghana took advantage.
