Anisimova is riding on a wave, only Sabalenka and Swiatek can stop her. Anisimova actually had a tough match against Muchova and Paolini, but in her last match, she rested as if it were a practice, fighting against Gauff who practically gave up, there was no game. Meanwhile, Noskova struggled with Pegula for 2 hours and 30 minutes, she was weak on her serve with 7 double faults, despite having 11 aces, she made quite a few unforced errors. Simply put, Pegula came into this match very weakened, as she had three exhausting matches with three sets each before, and she was unable to use a few match points and the tiebreak in the end to her advantage, as she practically missed an empty court at the net. The minus is that Noskova is not bad at receiving and in their last H2H at Wimbledon Anisimova won.
