Yes, Canada unquestionably has the advantage over the French in terms of overall strength, skills, experience in tournaments of this caliber, and so on. But the French, just like their half-brother, demonstrate their superior gameplay here and I don't know how much that adds to their motivation, but I personally believe that the French are capable of taking a set. Canada often falters in BP situations, which in my opinion is a disadvantage that the French can take advantage of and possibly win a set. Although overall, I think Canada should come out on top, the odds for getting a value bet on a straight set victory are good, as when the French's serve is on point, it's not easy to break and turn the game around, so it's worth considering an over bet for the first set as a whole.
