Overall, Pegula has a 3-0 record against Gauff on hard court. Despite Pegula losing focus in the last three sets, Sabalenka was able to make a comeback and defeat her in the first set. In the last set, losing 2-5 is a big deal. As for Gauff, she is a well-adjusted child. I can even see Pegula outplaying her with finesse at the baseline, and Gauff will likely hand over the match easily.
