Hello.
Euroleague. Bayern against Milano. We are off to Peru for an away game.
Honestly, this year Bayern doesn't seem very strong. If not for Obst, it would be even more disappointing. The main center (Gabriel) is currently not available and it's unclear if he will play tomorrow. Without him, our rebounding is weak (actually, it doesn't look great even when he is playing). Obst is a deadly shooter, but if we can stop him, we have a chance to win easily. Neither Rathan-Mayes nor Baldwin seem convincing as point guards. The team is truly disappointing. Yes, they are better at home and they even beat Zvezda here, but the game was not impressive. Zalgiris even won by 28 points, which is a huge difference.
Milano has a lot of talent and also a great coach in Messina. Due to injuries, they will be without Nebo and LeDay, which is a significant loss, but they have players to fill their roles. Booker looked very good against Monaco, and Dunston also performed well. Their backcourt is also very strong - Guduric, Brown, Brooks and Bolmaro are solid players. Someone like Manion doesn't even get a lot of playing time. Losing LeDay may weaken their frontcourt a bit, but Shields is also capable of stepping up. Against the same Monaco, they fought until the end and the team didn't look bad at all. The score doesn't reflect the level of play, so I believe the team will bounce back. The odds are just too high not to take Milano here. Good luck.
