As usual, Virtus plays a very unproductive game and if they manage to impose their style on others, there are few points. Thus, against fast-paced and attacking teams like Paris or Valencia, their offensive results are solid, but in the second round of Euroleague matches and against Lyon, who also don't rush and often adapt to their opponents, I don't expect a lot of points. Both teams are lower in the standings, as well as in their mastery and offensive abilities, so I don't think we should expect too many points.

    With ASVEL, Holmes finally broke through and gave what was expected of him. He scored 24 points and helped Nunn bring the team to victory. Today's opponent, Efes, is a more serious one, but their strength is their defenders. Without Poirier, it's very difficult for them under the basket.     After the defeat against Virtus, Monacos was greatly contributed by Mike James, who attacked with overconfidence but had a tragic accuracy. He only made 1 out of 11 shots, but still managed to score 10 points. Valencia has been defending poorly against guards, and the Spaniards play very fast basketball, which gives Mike James a great opportunity to redeem himself from the bad game. His 3-pointers this season so far have been: 2/7, 2/4, 3/10, 1/4.

    Panathinaikos does not seem very confident at the moment, it is clear that more time is needed for roles to be established, and in general, Ataman's teams did not always show a better game in the regular season.     Everything is clear that the stronger team, but even though they play hard, they gather points and the game curve should start to rise. I would not say the same about Efes. Before the Olympiacos match, they had a tough game a few days ago, now they are getting such a boost again. The main players of Efes - Larkin, Osmani, Cordinier, Lloyd - all started this season with a heavy workload and, most importantly, they all played for national teams during the summer. I think the curve should start to go down, especially with such high minutes that they have played so far, and with a double week and a second tough match ahead.

    Valencia is a solid team, they play enjoyable basketball, can compete at a high level, but when in a double-week with many visitors, the support of fans and home court advantage truly adds to their strength. This will certainly be missing for Valencia, and as newcomers to the Euroleague, they will definitely feel the pressure, as the local league is almost like a second Euroleague. The cards were also in Monaco's favor, but after their loss to Virtus, things have changed. Defense will be crucial in this double-week and Monaco seems to have an advantage here.

    The Basques are a complete offensive team and their games are always high-scoring. The defenders are also vulnerable, so players like Brown will have plenty of opportunities. Partizan still won't have Milton, so automatically there will be more minutes, touches and shots for Brown. He typically plays close to 30 minutes per game. Against Real this week, he played 29 minutes and made 9 shots, scoring 4 points. With a better shooting percentage, he could easily score 14 points, especially against Baskonia. In their previous games, he scored 24 points against Efes team and 20 points against Milan.     Baskonia continues its tragic performance in defense and I don't think anything will change in the near future. Unlike when playing away, at home Baskonia appears stronger in offense. Partizan is not showing any improvement in their game, they didn't do anything against Real a long time ago, but they regained some intrigue. Against Baskonia, the guests are the hosts, but I wouldn't write off Baskonia - at home, this team can still get involved in a points race even without their important players.
