Ben Shelton - Andrey Rublev

10/30 13:30 Kentukyo -7.00
2025/10/30 11:46 (1st Set Andrey Rublev) @2.100 7/10

After the US Open, Rublev traveled to Asia for some hard court tournaments and fell in the first round. He arrived in Paris which I think suits him perfectly this year, there aren't many very fast points which Shelton likes, slower hard courts fit Rublev's playing style better. He already took out Fearnley and Tien. I'm starting the first set better than the match, until it becomes more stable, because going into the second half of the match, it's unclear with him.

I can fully see that both players can win a set here. Fokina arrived in very good form after the final in Basel and took down 2 French players here in Paris, while Zverev's game after his first match does not convince that he can easily win here. It was a achieved final in Vienna and only lost by a hair to Sinner, but he gave away a set in the first round against the tragic hard court player Ugo Carabelli, who only chooses this surface when his opponents are weak. Fokina is a serious tennis player and should not be underestimated in this match, but at the same time, he is not stable enough to easily beat Peru. I think it will be a close match, possibly even going into 3 sets. I will take the over.
