Tagger Lilli - Blinkova Anna

2025/11/01 18:38 Tagger Lilli @102 8/10

Another Ghana with a lot of value placed on it. Of course, I was expecting about 2.5 odds for Tagger, still the first steps towards higher levels.
Blinkova Anna plays at higher levels, but recently it hasn't been going well for her. Looking at this tournament, she is playing very poorly on her serve, weak on both first and second serves, with a considerable number of double faults, and moves weakly on the court. At first glance, she seems a bit overweight, like a piece of gum under the court. The only thing she can do here is somehow take advantage of the game, but she also makes a lot of mistakes and moves weakly.
Tagger Lilli, at 17 years old, has a lot of potential but needs to avoid injuries. She has excellent technical skills, a stronger serve than Blinkova, and she is psychologically very strong, with a great mentality. I didn't expect that such a young player would be able to maintain this level of play after the clay season and on a fast hard court.
Even players at the WTA level like Cocciaretto E. and Korpatsch T. have lost to her in straight sets, while she was able to push the technically strong Golubic to a third set after being down 2:5, eventually winning 7:5.
In their previous matches, Blinkova has a record of 0:3 against the same Golubic. I think that a match against the Swiss will be much easier for the Austrian, as the Russian tries to end points quickly, makes a lot of mistakes, and is weaker technically.
A 2-0 victory is definitely possible here.

    Svitolina Elina - Noskova Linda

    Svitolina Elina (gamess -3) @-104 8/10
Central setting for tomorrow. Noskova mainly relies on her strength, she is not a clay court player, and at Roland Garros she has reached the second stage the furthest, even though she should rank much higher. She serves a good amount of aces, but also has a fair share of double faults. Her movement is not comfortable, and her game technique on clay is weak. She takes a lot of risks with her serve, trying to create opportunities for herself to break and relying on her serve, but it doesn't always work. On the other hand, Svitolina, who is skilled at finishing points, has reached the quarterfinals at Roland Garros before and has had a strong start to this season. Her game technique is better. Plus, with motivation and having already beaten Noskova twice on hard court, and with Noskova withdrawing from the Australian Open due to injury, the match should be very motivating for Svitolina, who has more experience.

    Svitolina Elina (setais 2:0) @150 8/10
Central setting for tomorrow. Noskova relies mainly on strength, she is not a clay court player, and at the Roland Garros major tournaments she has reached the second round furthest, even though according to rankings she should go much further. She serves a fair amount of aces, but also quite a few double faults. Her game on clay is not very sharp, and she takes a lot of risks with her serves, often giving her opponents break opportunities and relying on her serves, although it doesn't always work out.

On the other side, Svitolina, who knows how to play final points, has reached the quarter-finals of Roland Garros tournaments multiple times, and has had a great start to the season. She has a better game technique and, with motivation, has won over Noskova twice on hard courts, plus one match she withdrew from at the Australian Open due to an injury. So, the match should be highly motivated for the experienced Svitolina.
