Euroleague. Monaco against Fenerbahce. We are going with a 6.5 point handicap for Fenerbahce. Both teams are in good form and have their own ambitions for this match. Monaco lost to Fenerbahce in their last encounter and I think they will be seeking revenge. Fenerbahce has a 10 game winning streak and seems to be gaining momentum. Monaco has recently beaten their last three opponents, but those opponents were Paris, Asvel and Efes - teams that aren't doing well this season. It could be that Monaco is overestimating themselves. Defense is not their strongest point and Fenerbahce will definitely take advantage of it. Overall, I think Šaras (coach) is better than Spanoulis, so tactically the team will be better prepared. Fenerbahce had a long break from Euroleague due to playing in Turkey, so I believe they will be well-rested and craving for higher level matches. As I mentioned, Monaco is not a good defensive team, but Fenerbahce can definitely challenge them (although physicality might be on Monaco's side for this day). Both teams have good defenders, but Monaco's tall players are better, although it seems that Spanoulis' strategies are exploiting them.
