Both teams fell into holes and both needed points, as those holes have greatly changed the situation in the tournament table. Villarreal has been an over/under team the whole season, favoring attacking football, and has the third best attack in the league. Espanyol is not as over/under, but this season they have been playing a more open style and creating plenty of opportunities. However, with the talent and line-up that Villarreal has, the visitors shouldn't end the game without a goal as well. 2-1 seems like the most realistic outcome.
