Sakkari Maria, having experienced 30 years in Greece, is currently playing at the highest level. This season, her form has greatly improved compared to the previous one, as she has defeated Swiatek, Paolini, and even Osaka, reaching the semifinals in Doha. She has strong technical skills and a good serve, and she performs well from the backline.
Tagger Lilli, although only 19 years old, has been playing at lower levels, including ITF and mainly on clay courts. This year, she has started to compete at the challenger level and occasionally at the WTA level. She is known for her good groundstrokes and serves, but still prone to youthful mistakes, and under pressure, her game can sometimes falter.
