The Australian final between possibly the two best teams of the season is about to start (there could potentially be a dispute between Adelaide and SEM). Sydney made it to the finals in just two games, while Adelaide played all three games against SEM, during which Bryce Cotton showed why he is a beast with 42, 29, and 38 points. However, despite such a strong contribution, Cotton will now have to rely on his playmaking abilities as Sydney will do everything to turn him into a ball distributor, as seen in their four previous games this season (we could omit the first game as it was a 79-103 victory, where Cotton only finished with 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists). However, the other three games perfectly reflect what Sydney did against him - 25 points, 9 assists; 16 points, 10 assists; and 17 points, 9 assists. Comparing these point totals and what he did last week in the semifinals against SEM, it is clear that he will not get that much freedom against Sydney and will have to trust his teammates (who are solid shooters).
